Yet, We Are Merely Human After All

It's already the third week of December and this is my first post this month.
Sigh
Been refraining myself to write anything but the internship report.
Turned out I just refraining my ability to write anything because of too many thoughts that piling up and absorbing my energy.
And the determination to write the internship report is left as a spoilt motivation.

So many things happened these few weeks.
I moved to a new apartment, 40 minutes away from the office (25 minutes tram and 15 minutes walk).
My new landlady is a very nice person.
I went to Paris with Dissa as a weekend getaway.
My birthday.
My simulations..
But I will talk about that later, in detail.
This is not my first intention to write this post.

I've been shocked by the news about Jonghyun suicide since yesterday.
I didn't expect that it would hit me this hard, but apparently, it did.
To the point that I couldn't sleep up till half past 3 this morning.
I am not even a shawol.
And I couldn't imagine what if I am.

Most people might say that I'm too much.
I agree.
People might say that my opinion is biased, as I'm a Kpop lover myself.
I agree.
And of course, Shinee is one of the groups that made me fall in love in Korean pop song.

But almost no opinion is unbiased.
Aren't all the things in this world relative?
Relative to your position? and your point of view? and your time? your perspective?
That's why I never want to judge people for whatever things they do.
I tried hard not to put a true or false label on other people actions.
I don't have the right to judge people as I never stand on their point.
So I never know every aspect of their life.

I feel so sad that some of my friends and even families, easily put label on people just because of the general knowledge about their community.
And it is unfortunate that some people find other people are not worth as much just because they have different religions.
I'm not saying that it is right to mourn over one single Korean singer who committed suicide and not to mourn over thousands of people in Palestine who struggled in a long-lasting war with Israel.

War (+politic, +religion) and mental health are definitely two different issues.
Please understand that it is easier for most people to relate to the latter topic as it is something that many people experienced.
Something that most people can relate to, it is so close in their daily life.
Of course, not many people would be able to imagine what it feels like to be living in a conflict country for a long time.
And the inability to 'appropriately' react to this issue doesn't mean that they are not HUMAN.

_________________________________________________________

Actually, I still have a lot to say about this.
But I left this post unfinished for over 2 weeks and now the flame that was burning in me when I started writing this has already over.
Yet I don't want to keep this in the draft.
So it is better to post it like this.

I apologize for those who feel offended.
This is solely my own thoughts that I decided to keep away from my mind.
So I put it here instead.

Annyeong.
